When one thinks of Hendersonville in Tennessee, the first thing that comes to mind is Old Hickory Lake. This lake is a huge attractor of people who love luxurious lakefront property, as well as families. To talk about Hendersonville without mentioning its education system would be a travesty in itself. Sumner County schools has been a sharp competitor and alternative to Williamson County schools. Its wide array of programs along with its proximity to Vanderbilt University make it an ideal place to teach and raise children.
The city also has a new shopping center that is being developed. Indian Lake Village is being developed with a high tech theatre, Red Robin, Barnes and Noble, and a plethora of economically strengthening businesses, making it ideal for those special weeknights.
